 Blue Blaze
After his father, Doctor Keen, discovered the existence of a mysterious blue blaze, nineteenth century student Spencer Keen is doused in the stuff after a tornado wrecks his father's laboratory. Though slain in this incident, Spencer nonetheless rises from his grave almost a century later, in order to battle a vast array of evil men and their plots to ruin the lives of innocent folks. Thomas Raymond parent's were scientists and worked alongside Dr.Horton in his efforts to create the original Human Torch. Due to the radiation they picked up from their experiments their son, was born with fire based powers. When they were killed by Asbestos Lady, Toro joined with the original Torch. |  Union Jack
Brian Falsworth was the second man to wear the costume of Union Jack following in the footsteps of his father. He was the benefactor of a super soldier serum developed by the German's prior to the beginning of WWII. |

While on an expedition into an unknown jungle, Robert Frank was bitten by a deadly cobra. His father, knowing the mongoose was a deadly enemy of the cobra, found such a beast and took some of its blood. Hoping the blood would contain some anti-toxin, his father injected it into Robert, though he died from the strain of the incident right afterward. Robert, once he came to, found that the venom and the blood had mixed to fantastic effect within his body, and he could now move at incredible speeds! | | |
