| Ben Reilly is the genetically engineered clone of Peter Parker, the Amazing Spider-Man. Created as part of a plot to destroy the web-slinger, Ben has since sought to find a life for himself. After wandering the country for five long years, he briefly came to believe that he was the true Peter Parker. For a time he wore the name and costume of Spider-Man, but after the Jackal's scheme to impersonate Norman Osborn came to fruition, Ben went back into hiding, believed dead by all who knew him.
